Mouser Pits Engineers Against IndyCar Challenge

Are you an engineer who loves IndyCar racing? Dallas and Fort Worth-based electronics components distributor Mouser Electronics has spun up a new design competition which lets you combine your engineering talents with your enthusiasm for racing. Mouser said it has launched the 2013 Mouse 500 Engineering Challenge, which asks engineers to design a number of different electronics designs specificdally aimed at helping its team in the IndyCar races. The prizes aren't huge--"swag" packs, and iPad mini, and a photo of Mouser's team--but Mouser said it will use the designs as part of its racing efforts. Mouser's electronics components catalog is a popular resource for electronic hobbyists.
