Austin Canoe and Kayak Adopts Nexus Tablets

The outdoor adventure types at Austin Canoe and Kayak not only are pushing limits in the outdoors; they're also pushing the use of technology, with the adoption of Google Nexus tablets in the company's operations. The outdoor brand, which is owned by MSP Holdings, said it has just implemented a new mobile warehouse management system, based on Google Nexus7 and Nexus 10 tablets. According to ACK, the move means that all of its warehouse functions are now entirely paperless, and provide real-time data on orders. ACK said it expects the move will reduce the amount of paper used at the warehouse by over 90 percent.
