Dell Gets Revised Offer From Silver Lake, Michael Dell

Round Rock-based Dell has received a new offer from Michael Dell and Silver Lake to acquire the company, the company said late Tuesday, with Michael Dell and Silver Lake offering $13.75 per share in cash for the company. Dell delayed the vote on the acquisition of the company until August 2nd due to the new offer. In their revised offer letter to Dell, the investor group said the increase adds approximately $150M to be paid to unaffiliated stockholders.
