Vital Art and Science Gets $550K
Richardson-based home medical monitoring product startup Vital Art and Science Incorporated announced Tuesday that it has raised $550,000 in its Series A financing round, to go towards the company's products for monitoring ophthalmic diseases in the home. According to Vital Art and SCience, the new funding was led by the North Texas Angel Network (NTAN), and provided a valuation of $10M post financing. Vital Art and Science makes myVisionTrack, a home monitoring product which helps monitor the progression of disease in patients with wet-AMD or diabetic retinopathy. The company's products help track disease progression, detect changes in disease condition, and help track treatment effectiveness and detect early intervention opportunities.
