Computerlinks Acquired By Arrow Electronics

Computerlinks, a global company which has its North American headquarters in Austin, has been acquired by fellow IT distributor Arrow Electronics. Arrow Electronics said yesterday that it paid approximately $300M for Computerlinks, which has its global headquarters in Munich, Germany. Arrow said that Computerlinks had 2013 sales of around $950M. Computerlinks North America has its home in Austin; it's unclear how the move will affect that office, since Arrow is based in Colorado.
