Walmart Expands Online Operations In Fort Worth

Texas is benefiting today from a growth in the online business for retailer Walmart, which announced this morning that it is opening up a new, fulfillment center in Fort Worth which will employ 275 full time employees. According to Walmart, it has opened up a new, 800,000 sq. ft fulfillment center in Fort Worth, which started shipping orders to its online customers last week. The center is one of two--Walmart also has opened up another center in Pennsylvania--which Walmart said will help to deliver customer orders in the U.S. faster and ad lower cost. The new facilities are dedicated to Walmart's online operations, stocking everything from electronics to toys, apparel, sporting goods, and other products for Walmart.
