Gravitant Grabs $10M In Series B

Austin-based Gravitant, the cloud software developer led by Mohammed Farooq, said Wednesday that it has raised $10M in its Series B funding. The new funding was led by Corsa Ventures, and also included prior investor S3 Ventures. As part of the funding, Alex Gruzen of Corsa Ventures joins the company's board of directors. Gravitant develops what it calls cloud brokerage software, used to help enterprises mix and match cloud providers for various enterprise IT needs. The company said the new funds will go towards sales, marketing, and new product enhancements. More information »
