eRecycling Group Raises $105M
Irving-based eRecycling Group announced this morning that it has raised a huge, $105M Series C funding round, to go towards its electronics and mobile device trade-in service. The funding was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and also included Silve Lake Kraftwerk and other investors. The company said the new funding will go to support potential acquisition, geographic expansion, and new products. eRecycling is led by David Edmondson, and helps wireless carriers manage trade-in of mobile phones. The firm's other investors include OpenAir Equity Partners, SJF Ventures, NGEN Partners, RRE Ventures and TAP Advisors. More information »
