Media Recovery Buys UK Company

Dallas-based Media Recovery and its ShockWatch division announced today that it has acquired the ShockLog impact and environmental recorder business from UK-based IMC Group. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. ShockLog's products are used for monitoring shipments and equipment. ShockWatch said it had the rights to sell ShockLog's recorders in the United States since 1999. Media Revoery owns DataSpan and ShockWatch, and is owned by Dallas investment firm Capital Southwest Corporation.
