VirTex Enterprises Buys Wisconsin Electronics Manufacturer

Austin-based VirTex Enterprises, a provider of electronics and technology manufacturing services, said late Thursday that it has acquired Wisconsin-based MTI Electronics. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. MTI provides PCB assembly, electronic assembly, PCB protototyping, design-for-manufacturing, testing services, and other circuit board related services. VirTex said the move will help it expand its geographic footprint, and that it does not plan to make any changes to the operations or personnel at MTI.
