CopperEgg Sets Bockius As CEO

Austin-based CopperEgg--which is now part of Idera--said this week that it has named Chad Bockius as CEO. CopperEgg also said it has appointed Heidi Farris as VP of marketing, and Chris Yndo as VP of Sales. Bockius is a familiar face in Austin, having led social media software developer SocialWare. Farris was previously at Bloomfire, and Yndo was at at Bloomfire and CompassLearning. CopperEgg said it saw 380 percent growth in its monthly recurring revenues as part of the announcement, but did not disclose any actual financials or what that meant in terms of overall revenue. CopperEgg is a developer of server and application monitoring software tools.
