Baker Hughes Buys Perfomix For Software Technology

Houston-based oil and gas services provider Baker Hughes said Tuesday that it has acquired Perfomix, a Texas-based provider of software for enhancing oil and gas operations. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Baker Hughes aid that Perfomix will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm, and become part of its remote operations services organization. Perfomix developed a suite of tools for managing oil drilling, productions, performance, and more.
