Tyler Technologies Launches New Guided Court Filing Software

Plano-based Tyler Technologies is making it easier for people to file their own legal forms at courts, with the launch of a new product, the company said this morning. Tyler Technologies said it has launched a new product called Odyssey Guide & File, which helps "pro-se" litigants--those who are representing themselves--go through the process of completing court forms and filings. Tyler Technologies is making the software available to courts. The new product uses the idea of online interviews to help gather all of the information needed to file a form. Tyler Technologies said it has already deployed the product in courts in Georgia, South Dakota, Idaho, Nevada, and New Mexico. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
