ZixCorp Aims At SMBs

Dallas-based email protection services developer Zix Corporation is expanding its footprint today, saying it has launched a new service aimed at the small and medium sized business (SMB) market. Zix said it has launched its ZixGateway Hosted service to automatically can and encrypt outbound email with sensitive content for SMBs. The company said the fully hosted service will be fully managed and configured by ZixCorp to that SMBs will not need to invest in dedicated resource for the service. Pricing on the new service was not announced; ZiX previously had primarily offered its email protection service to the enterprise market.
