Zirtual Targets Hiring In Dallas
Virtual assistant startup Zirtual, which is backed by Tony Hsieh (CEO of zappos.com), VegasTechFund, and Mayfield Fund, said today that it is hiring in Dallas, part of its plan to hire an additional 300 people over the next year. The online service--which provides virtual assistants to professionals and entrepreneurs--said it is particularly looking for stay-at-home moms, people with disabilities, and other remote employees. The company said that currently, 89 percent of its employees are women and stay-at-home mothers. The company, which is headquartered in Las Vegas, did not say why it is particularly targeting hires in the Dallas area.
