SailPoint Reports Strong Growth

Austin-based SailPoint, the developer of identity and access management software for the enterprise, reported what it says was strong growth in the first half of the year. The company said it saw greater than 60 percent year over year growth. Financials were not released by the company, although it claimed it had record operating profits in the time period. SailPoint is led by Kevin Cunningham. SailPoint's products are used by employees of large enterprises to access data and applications at corporate datacenters. The firm is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Lightspeed Ventures, Origin Partners, and Silverton Partners.
