GameStop CEO Raines Treated For Brain Tumor
Grapevine, Texas-based videogame retailer GameStop said Tuesday morning that its CEO, Paul Raines, has undergone unexpected surgery to remove a small, cancerous tumor in his brain. The company said that his doctors have advised him that he has a "very good" prognosis for a full and complete recovery. Raines will be undergoing chemotherapy for the tumor. GameStop said that it does not expect the treatments to impact Raines continued leadership of the company.
