CyrusOne Expands Connectivity In Virginia

Dallas-based colocation provider CyrusOne reported late Thursday that it has reached agreements with eight new telecom carrier to interconnect their networks to a new, multi-tenant data center is has in Northern Virginia. The company said the deals are with Level 3 Communications, tw telecom, Comcast, SummitIG, FiberLight, Lightower, Zayo and CenturyLink. The connections are expected to be complete when the new facility opens in the fourth quarter of 2014. Northern Virginia is a major data center and telecom hub.
