Xplore Technologies Gets Military Order

Austin-based ruggedized tablet maker Xplore Technologies said yesterday that it has received another, multi-million dollar purchase order for its Windows tablets. The company said the win goes towards a military program using the tablets for field data collection. Exact size of the order, and name of the specific U.S. military branch using the product, was not announced. Xplore Technologies makes a ruggedized tablet which can take on dust, water, and repeated drops and other harsh conditions.
