Silver Spring Networks Sets Up In San Antonio, To Hire 60

Smart grid and energy management technology developer Silver Spring Networks said late Thursday that it is setting up shop in San Antonio, as part of a deployment of its products with CPS Energy. Silver Spring said the new office will house approximately 60 employees, and offer up a technology demonstration center, in addition to supporting engineers, field maintenance and service, and "citizen engagement experts". Silver Spring Networks is based in Silicon Valley.
