Phunware Top Growing Company In Texas, Fourth In Nation

Austin-based Phunware, the software developer run by Alan Knitowski, is among the top, fastest growing companies ranked by auditing and accounting firm Deloitte. According to Deloitte's annual Fast 500 ranking, Phunware was number 4 in the nation--and tops in Texas--ranked by five year revenue growth. Phunware clocked in at an astounding 17716% five year revenue growth, according to the listing. There were 23 companies from Texas, or a little more than 5 percent of the list of 500. Other highly ranking companies in Texas were #69, Q1Media (1909% growth, Austin); #104, Nexgen (1142%, Laredo); #135, Geoforce (850%, Coppell); #160, One Source Networks (676%, Austin); #181, Kinnser Software (580%, Austin); and #186, Bazaarvoice (553%, Austin).
