Austin Startup Shuts Down

Austin Startup, the technology blog created by Bryan Menell to shine light on Austin's growing startup scene, has shut down. According to Menell, who created the blog in 2007, he decided to close down the blog and turn it into a resource page, due to his workload and other projects. Menell is currently the CEO of Mahana, and is also a mentor at Capital Factory. Menell had created AustinStartup to chronicle the many emerging startups in Austin, who he felt were not having their stories told.
