Buzz Points Names New CEO

Austin-based Buzz Points, which is developing loyalty software aimed at connecting local businesses, consumers, and community financial institutions, said today that it has named Dwayne Spradlin as its new Chief Executive Officer. Spradlin has previously served as President of Hoover's, the Dun & Bradstreet company which offers up business information. He also has served at the Health Data Consortium, InnoCentive, StarCite, VerticalNet, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Spradlin replaces founder Jay Valanju, who has become Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships.
