Geekdom Fund Raises $2.96M For Local Venture Investments

San Antonio-based venture capital investor Geekdom Fund recently disclosed that it has raised $2,964,000 in funding for investments in early stage, information technology startups. Names of the limited partners in the fund have not been disclosed. The fund close was disclosed in an SEC filing at the end of December. The fund is run by Don Douglas, Michael Girdley, Mike Troy, and Cole Wollak. The fund has so far invested in Promoter, HelpSocial, SmartPicture, Par Level Systems, MergeVR, FlashValet, Testlio, and Fashion Metric.
