Gravitant Enhances Cloud Software

Austin-based Gravitant, which is led by Mohammed Farooq, has rolled out a set of enhancements to its cloud brokerage software to make it easier for its customers to deploy cloud-based software. Gravitant said it has added the ability to design and publish complete services--such as backup, security, monitoring--rather than having to configure and assembly individual components. The company calls its new capability "solution prints" -- a play on the idea of a blueprint of those services. Gravitant said the new feature will decrease the amount of design time, and provide increased standardization of cloud solutions for its customers. Gravitant is venture backed by Cielo Private Equity and S3 Ventures.
