Pluck Sold To Sprinklr

Austin-based social media and social networking software developer Pluck, which was most recently part of Demand Media, has been sold to New York-based Sprinklr, the companies said Thursday. Financial details of the sale were not announced. Sprinklr said it would use the buy to bolster its enterprise social technology. Pluck was founded in 2003, and had been acquired by Demand Media in 2008 in a deal worth $56.3M.
