Toopher Acquired By Salesforce
Austin-based Toopher, the developer of two-factor mobile authentication software led by Josh Alexander, has been acquired by Salesforce, according to the company's website. According to Toopher, the company will no longer sell its current products, and will join Salesforce to work on its cloud-based software. Toopher was created at the University of Teas at Austin, and had raised $2M in funding from such funds as Alsop Louie, Stonehenge Growth Capital, Corsa Ventures, and others. Toopher did not respond to requests for comment on the deal.
