Conceivable Finds $800K In Seed Funding For Pregnancy Help
Austin-based Conceivable, a startup which offers up a technology and mobile-app-based program to help a woman get and stay pregnant, said this morning that it has raised $800,000 in a seed funding round. Names of those investors were not announced, however, the company said the funding came from former and current patients, healthcare executives and former venture capitalists. Conceivable was founded by Kirsten Karchmer. The company's app and program revolves around monitoring such things as basal body temperature, menstrual cycles, and ovulation, and applying personalized programs to help optimize eating, drinking, weight, and other factors that affect fertility.
