Ferris, Founded In Austin, Finds $2M For Video Sharing Apps
Video sharing app developer Ferris, which was founded in 2012 in Austin, has raised $2M in a seed financing round. The funding was led by Upfront Ventures, and also included Allen DeBevoise of Machinima. Ferris.tv develops an iPhone app which lets users share videos they have created in their iPhone, linking together videos from multiple users to create "stories" centered on life events like weddings and concerts. The startup now has relocated to Los Angeles. Ferris is led by Paul Bouadakis. More information »
