Silvercar Rolls Out In Chicago

Austin-based car rental startup Silvercar, which rents out fully outfitted, Audi vehicles at airports around the country, rolled out in Chicago over the weekend, part of a new expansion by the company. Silvercar also plans to open up a location in Ft. Lauderdale this month. Silvercar is backed by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, Velos Partners, and others. The company offers up luxury Audi vehicles with built-in Wi-Fi, satellite radio, and other perks. Silvercar said it is offering up its cars in Chicago for only $59 a day until the end of July, as part of its launch into the city.
