Techstars Opens Applications For Cloud Accelerator In San Antonio
Startup accelerator operator Techstars has opened up applications for its 2016 Techstars Cloud program in San Antonio, the accelerator said today. The new program will run from from November 2nd through February 11th, 2016, when it will hold a Demo Day for its class. The program is the fourth Techstars in San Antonio and its cloud startup accelerator, which pairs up startups with funding, mentors, and more to help get them from idea to the market. Techstars' program in San Antonio revolves around cloud-focused businesses. Techstars says that the alumni from its first, three cloud startup accelerator programs have so far raised more than $100M in funding, from such investors as Foundry Group, NEA and Sequoia. Each company in the program receives $118,000 in investment capital, in addition to all the mentoring and help with their business. Techstars' program in San Antonio is led by Blake Yeager.
