Idera Launches Free SQL Server Database Tool

Houston-based Idera, which develops application and server management software, said today that it has released a new, free tool for database administrators to manage their SQL Server instances. The company said its new SQL Hekaton Memory Check shows real time memory usage on their database instances. Hekaton is Microsoft's in-memory, online transaction processing database software for SQL Server.
