FireHost Changes Its Name, Becomes Armor

Richardson-based secure hosting provider FireHost said this morning that it has renamed the company as Armor. according to the company, the new brand name also includes the launch of its cybersecurity products as Armor Anywhere, and a change of name of its FireHost VPC service to Armor Complete. Armor offers up virtual private cloud and private cloud services, all aimed at customers requiring greater security to meet things like credit card PCI compliance, HIPAA, and other compliance requirements. The company is led by Chris Drake.
