Caringo Wins BT

Austin-based object-based storage developer Caringo said today that it has been selected by BT, for its global cloud storage service. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Caringo said its Caringo Swarm software is being used to provide object-based storage for BT's Compute Storage offferings, available in the UK and Germany. BT plans to roll out the software across all 18 countries where it has cloud operations. Caringo is led by Jonathan Ring.
