HID Global Acquires IAI Industrial Systems

Austin-based security and identification technology developer HID Global said late last night that it is in a deal to buy European identity document company IAI industrial systems B.V.. IAI is owned by parent company DOCDATA N.V. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. IAI provides technology used by governments for passports and identity cards, specifically to personalize and embed security features into those documents.
