Continuum Analytics Rolls Out Anaconda On Cloudera

Austin-based Continuum Analytics, the developer of the Anaconda open source analytics software, said it has rolled out a version of Anaconda for Cloudera. Cloudera is a provider of a cloud-based service which combines Apache Hadoop with other tools. According to the companies, the support allows users to use Anaconda within Cloudera-managed Hadoop clusters. Previously, Cloudera's users had to manually install and configure both Anaconda and its supporting use of Python on Cloudera's clusters.
