Whole Foods Takes Stake In Instacart, Says Report
Austin-based grocery chain Whole Foods Market has reportedly taken a stake in on-demand delivery service Instacart, according to a report published Tuesday. Size of the investment has not yet been announced or disclosed. The report said the deal was not yet final but was "essentially done.". Instacart offers up same day delivery services in Austin and Houston from Whole Foods, as well as other local grocery stores like H.E.B.
