Puffingston Powers Winning Pitch For PopUp Play

Austin-based design firm Puffingston and Austin startup PopUp Play said that Puffingston was behind the winning presentation for PopUp Play at the recent SXSW Accelerator event. PopUp Play develops an iPad app which lets kids create and order custom designed playhouses. The pitch was given by PopUp Play co-founder Bryan Thomas as part of the Entertainment and Content Accelerator pitch competition, which garnered the company a $4,000 prize. The two companies said that PopUp Play was the only, Austin winner among the 48 startups in the competition.
