TrendKite Names Trio Of New VPs

Austin-based software developer TrendKite named three new VPs this morning, saying it has named John De Oliveira as VP of Product, Russ Somers as VP of Marketing, and Jennifer Cantu as VP of People. De Oliveira has served at such companies as Sprinklr, Dachis Group, and Dun & Bradstreet; Somers has been at Invodo, SonarDesign, Dun & Bradstreet, and Dell; and Cantu was previously at SpiceWorks, having helped that company grow from just 30 employees to more than 500. TrendKite says the hiring comes as a result of its recent $10.75M funding round in October. TrendKite develops software that helps public relations agencies measure the impact of the PR efforts. The company is venture backed by Noro-Moseley Partners, Battery Ventures, Silverton Partners, and Mercury Fund.
