Overhaul Launches High End Freight Marketplace

Overhaul, a new, Austin-based startup, said Wednesday that it has launched a new, online marketplace to help connect Fortune 50 companies with cargo shippers. The startup, led by Barry Conlon, said it is aiming at shippers with high-value or time sensitive cargo, and uses technology to help manage the risks of moving that cargo. On the other side of the marketplace, the company has developed a mobile app for both iOS and Android, which provides route planning, locates point of interest, and other resources for drivers and owner-operators. Conlon previously headed up FreightWatch, a company which managed supply chain security and risk.
