Anixter Expands In Houston

Anixter, a major distributor of wire and cable, communications and networking products, fiber optic cabling, security products, and other products, said it is opening up a new facility in Houston. According to the company, the new, 200,000 square foot location is scheduled to open in early 2017 and will include a warehouse facility, onsite sales, and technical experts. Anixter said the expansion comes in part due to the acquisition of the Houston-area locations of HD Supply - Power Solutions Division in October 2015.
