Aceable Expands Study Guides To 34 States, Stymied By Slow State Regulations
Austin-based Aceable, which offers up mobile, interactive driver's education courses, is setting the stage of expansion of its services across a broader number of states, with the launch of a free mobile study guide. According to Aceable, it is offering up mobile study guides--essentially the same material as its courses--for free in 34 states. Those guides are targeted at both teens and adults. The company has not yet received approval for its actual course in all of those states, however, the company says its course is "pending approval" in several of those states. Aceable explained that it is making the material--essentially, the same learning experience and information as its existing driver's ed courses--because of the lag between state regulation and technology. Aceable is led by founder Blake Garrett.
