Planview Sale To Thoma Bravo Completes

Austin-based software developer Planview is now officially owned by private equity investor Thoma Bravo, after the deal to acquire Planview completed on Friday. Financial details of the sale were not announced. Planview had been owned by Insight Venture partners, who the companies say remains a minority shareholder in the company. Planeview develops work and resource management software, used for strategic planning, portfolio and resource management, new product development, work collaboration, and enterprise architecture. Greg Gilmore remains CEO of Planview.
