Zenoss Rolls Out SDK For Third Party Plugins

Austin-based hybrid cloud monitoring software developer Zenoss is making it easier for third party developers to plug into its software, with a new software development kit (SDK), the company said this week. Zenoss said the ZenPack SDK allows anyone to create plug-ins to its software. Zenoss said the SDK can be used to extend functionality in its software, to allow for monitoring of servers, networking systems, storage systems, virtual environment, containers, converged infrastructure, applications and more. The company said its SDK uses such protocols and APIs as SNMP, WMI and SSH.
