Digital Pharmacist Buys PocketRx

Austin-based Digital Pharmacist, a digital health startup which provides patient engagement software to pharmacies, said on Thursday that it has acquired PocketRx, a mobile app which lets patients manage their prescriptions. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Digital Pharmacist said it acquired the app from developer Praeses, LLC, which will continue to provide software development and support for the app. As part of the acquisition, Robert Terrell, product manager for PocketRx, has joined Digital Pharmacist.
