Bloomfire Integrates With Zendesk

Austin-based Bloomfire, which develops knowledge sharing software for the enterprise, said this week that it has launched a new app for Zendesk. According to BLoomfire, the new app allows customer support employees to easily access information within Bloomfire without leaving Zendesk. Zendesk is widely used for managing customer support. Bloomfire said the integration works by automatically scanning tickets within Zendesk, and suggesting related content within Bloomfire that might be relevant to the customer support request. In a related move, Bloomfire also said it has launched a "custom portal service" which will allow access to a company's public knowledge base and links users into the Zendesk ticketing system.
