Trend Micro CTO, Raimund Genes, Dies Suddenly

Dallas-based cybersecurity software developer Trend Micro announced this morning that its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Raimund Genes, has died suddenly, at age 54. According to Trend Micro, Genes died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday, March 24th. Genes was at his family home in Germany. Genes had been at Trend Micro for the last 21 years, having founded Trend Micro's German subsidiary, Trend Micro Deutschland GmbH, in 1996.
