Dell EMC In First NASCAR Sponsorship

Dell EMC, the data center products and storage products unit of Dell, said today that it has entered into its first-ever sponsorship of a NASCAR racing team. According to Dell EMC and JTG Daughtery Racing, Dell will sponsor the team, and also provide Dell Edge Gateways, Embedded PCs and workstations power race team's efforts. In addition, Dell said it is looking to apply Internet-of-Things technology within the race car to provide an edge to the team. Financial details of the sponsorship deal were not announced.
