Opcity, Led By Yodle's Founder, Raises $27M For Real Estate Matching Startup
Austin-based Opcity, a new real estate startup which matches home buyers and sellers in real time, announced this morning that it has raised $27M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Icon Ventures, and also included Georgian Partners and LiveOak Venture Partners. OpCity's CEO and founder is Ben Rubenstein, who founded Yodle, which he sold to Web.com in 2016 for $342M. As part of the funding, Icon Ventures Tom Mawhinney has joined the company's board. Opcity said the new funding will go to rapidly scale its workforce. More information »
