Pivot3 Names Engineering VP

Austin-based converged infrastructure products maker Pivot3 has appointed Carlo Garbagnati as its new Vice President of Engineering, the company announced this morning. Garbagnati was most recently at Hitachi, serving as Vice President of Hyperconverged and NAS Engineering; he also served at BlueArc (acquired by HDS), as well as Quantum, Meridian, Parallan and Olivetti.
